New Houston Apartment Team is a team of Spirit Real Estate Group, LLC (TREC #562021). In this policy, "we," "us" and "our" mean New Houston Apartment Team and Spirit Real Estate Group, LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you use newapartmentshouston.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect what you choose to give us, plus basic technical data from your visit.

  • Shortlist and contact forms: your name, email, mobile number, move date, lease end, apartment size, all-in budget, preferred area and any message you add.
  • Texts, calls and emails: the content of messages you send us and our replies.
  • Saved buildings: your saved list is stored in your own browser. It isn't sent to us unless you send it.
  • Technical data: pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location from your IP address, collected through standard analytics tools.

We don't ask about disability, and we don't collect information about race, color, religion, sex, national origin or familial status for any purpose.

2. How we use your information

  • To confirm units, specials, fee sheets and water billing with apartment communities for your shortlist
  • To schedule tours and live video walks you ask for
  • To pre-check application requirements before you pay a fee
  • To send alerts on saved buildings, only with your consent and no more than once a day
  • To meet our obligations as a licensed Texas real estate brokerage
  • To improve the site and fix errors

3. How we share it

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to help with your search:

  • Apartment communities you ask us to contact, so they can confirm availability and register us as your locator
  • Service providers that host the site, deliver form submissions, send messages or provide analytics, under their own confidentiality terms
  • Authorities when required by law or by the Texas Real Estate Commission

4. Texts and calls

When you check the consent box on a form, you agree that we may call or text the number you provide about your apartment search. Consent isn't a condition of service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar tools to understand how the site is used and to keep forms working. You can block cookies in your browser settings; some features, like the saved list, may not work without local storage.

6. How long we keep it

We keep shortlist and lease records as long as needed for your search and as required by brokerage record-keeping rules, then delete or anonymize them.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfect, so please don't send sensitive documents like Social Security numbers through our forms. Communities collect those through their own secure portals.

8. Your choices

  • Ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you
  • Opt out of texts or alerts at any time
  • Clear your saved list by clearing your browser's site data
